The Institute for Law and Finance’s 14th Conference on the Future of the Financial Sector will be held on a hybrid basis on the Westend Campus of Goethe University in Frankfurt on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 organized by Andreas Dombret and Patrick Kenadjian.

These are some of the questions we will examine on January 27. The conference will feature keynote addresses from Professor Barry Eichengreen, from the University of California at Berkely and Hyun Song Shin, Head of the Monetary and Economic Department at the Bank for international Settlements, a conversation with Klaas Knot, former Chair of the Financial Stability Board, and the participation of senior representatives from the public and private sectors and academia, including Tobias Adrian, Director of the Monetary and Capital Department of the International Monetary Fund, Lorenzo Bini Smaghi, Chairman of Société Generale, Professor Stephen Cecchetti of the Brandeis International Business School and Fritzi Koehler-Geib, Member of the Executive Board of the Deutsche Bundesbank.
